About Calliope Productions
Calliope Productions is a non-profit cultural institution, incorporated in Massachusetts, dedicated to the presentation of affordable, high-quality theatrical performances and to providing performance opportunities and instruction for adults and youth in the central Massachusetts region.
The operations of Calliope are overseen by two Artistic Directors and a Managing Board of Directors:

Calliope's home is at 150 Main Street (Rt. 70) in Boylston, MA.
Main-Stage Productions
Calliope presents theatrical performences throughout the year, which include comedies, dramas, musicals, and musical revues. Past productions have included regional premieres.
Youth Theatre Program
Calliope operates a year-round Youth Theatre Program
for area students. This program consists of Spring and Fall Workshops, and
a Summer Musical Theatre Workshop for students ages 7 - 12, as well as a Summer Teen Summer
Musical which has been incorporated into Calliope's main-stage season.
Special Events
In addition to its main-stage productions, Calliope presents special events
throughout the year, such as
- Java & Jazz Coffeehouse Evenings
- Collaborative ventures with other theatre groups
Additional Programs and Services
In its efforts to provide educational and performance opportunities for all
ages, Calliope Productions has been instrumental in establishing these programs:
- Calliope Young at Heart Performers
Calliope has formed a performance group of singers, dancers, and musicians that will
visit nursing and retirement homes to present entertainment to underserved audiences.
