Donations and Sponsorship
We are grateful to our audiences, friends and patrons. Your support, both in monetary
donations and in moral encouragement make you are as much a part of each
production that we present as are the performers who appear on our stage.
This feeling seems to be shared by cast members, and it is noticed by new
audience members coming to their first Calliope show.
The achievements we have made--from our initial start in 1982 to our
acquisition of audience seating in 1987 to the purchase of our own building
in 1999 to the renovations and improvements made since then--would not
have been attained without your strong and continued support.
Calliope offers supporters three options for giving:
- General Operating Fund. Calliope's annual operating budget
of $100,000 is funded mainly through ticket sales and program fees.
Additional income is needed for marketing and promotional activities.
- Building Renovation Fund. We need to install handicapped-accessible
rest rooms on the main level of our building.
- Sponsor-A-Show Program. For a minimum donation of $1500, donors can sponsor individual productions or our year-round Youth Theatre Workshop Program. Sponsors will be specifically acknowledged in our playbills and on the production's Performance Page on our website.
Please send in the Sponsor and Donor Form with your contribution. We gladly accept anonymous donations. Supporters are acknowledged on the Calliope Supporters Page.

Donations to Calliope are tax-deductible and qualify for Matching Funds from area employers.
Calliope Productions is a non-profit organization, supported in part
by the Massachusetts Cultural Council through grants from the Local Cultural
Councils of Boylston, Hudson, Northborough, Shrewsbury, West Boylston
and Westborough.
