Donations

Calliope gratefully accepts tax-deductible donations of any amount. We allow supporters to designate three separate funds:
  • General Operating Fund
  • Building Renovation Fund
  • Adopt-A-Show Program
Please see the Donations Page for more information.

Please keep Calliope in mind as you plan your yearly charitable giving.

Calliope has teamed with GuideStar and Helping.org to process online donations. Click on the button to check it out:

Donations to Calliope are tax-deductible and qualify for Matching Funds from area employers.
We acknowledge the generosity of Calliope's Supporters. Thank you.

Advertising

Advertising in Calliope's playbills allows businesses to reach an attentive audience. And it presents Calliope with welcome support for our productions. Ad sizes available: full-page, half-page and quarter-page.

Please see the Advertising Page for more information.

Volunteers

Calliope always needs reliable volunteers to help out with productions.

Anyone with experience running sound equipment and lights can be of great help doing lights and sound for one of our shows.

We are always in need of Box Office and concession sales help on performance nights.

If any of these areas interest you, please call us at (508) 869-6887.

Facility Improvements

Calliope is still in need of funds to continue improving our facilities and supporting our programs. Unlike many theatre companies, Calliope has always finished each year "in the black" and has never had a deficit. However, that doesn't mean we still don't need donations to help fulfill the needs of our audiences and the communities we serve.

Since 2002, Calliope has re-shingled its roof, purchased a hardwood floor to use on the stage, installed air conditioning and refurbished the lobby and box office.

Our next project is provide restrooms on the main floor of the theatre, a project that will require us to upgrade the entire building to make it 100% handicapped-accessible. The cost estimate for this is over $250,000 because it will involve constructing an addition to the building and installing a new septic system and an elevator to the basement.

Note: All donations of goods and in-kind services are tax-deductible
