Calliope Auditions: Just In Time - a Revue of Tony Bennett Songs

Virtual Auditions are announced for a musical revue of Tony Bennett’s signature songs and standards. Together we will perform and pay tribute to Tony’s seventy-five year career with live musicians in a cool, cabaret style setting. (Music royalties will be covered by ASCAP membership.)

We are looking to cast 8-10 singers of mixed vocal ranges, ages 20 years and older, for SATB+ ensemble singing. Solos and duets will be assigned after auditions.

All roles are non-compensated.

Please video-record yourself singing one complete song that displays your vocal range, interpretation and any jazz influence. This may be a simple phone recording, using any form of accompaniment. No a cappella recordings will be considered, and video must be included. No dance or movement audition will be required; and no acting audition will be required, except in the presentation of your song. Video should show you from, at least, the waist up.

Virtual audition submissions must be received by Sun. Feb. 11. If needed by the director, live callback auditions will be held on Thursday, Feb. 15 at 7:00pm.

The Rehearsals

Regular rehearsals will be Tuesday and Thursday nights, and Sunday afternoons (beginning March 24). Possibly some Saturday afternoons, based on cast availability.

All rehearsals and performances will be at Calliope Theatre, 150 Main Street, Boylston, MA
