Calliope 2008 Summer Teen Musical

Calliope Productions is accepting registrations for its 17th Annual Summer Teen Musical production, which will be conducted at Calliope's Theatre at 150 Main Street in Boylston, MA.

This program is designed for students ages 13 - 18, and will meet on Sunday - Friday evenings, 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm, beginning June 22. It will end with performances of Fiddler on the Roof, a musical by Joseph Stein, Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, on Tuesday - Saturday, July 22 - 26.

During the course of this workshop, students will learn and develop several performance skills including speech, voice projection, singing, stage movement, choreography, and characterization, and will learn about technical and practical aspects of presenting plays as they work towards staging this musical production.

The workshop will be taught by Dave Ludt, Calliope's Artistic Director. The tuition fee is $200 per student, with space filled on a first-come basis.
