Calliope 2008 Pre-Teen Youth Theatre Workshops
2008 Spring Pre-Teen Workshop
Calliope Productions is accepting registrations for its 18th Annual Spring Pre-Teen Youth Theatre Workshop, which will be conducted at Calliope's Theatre at 150 Main Street in Boylston, MA.This program is designed for students ages 8 - 12, and will meet on Saturdays at 9:30 - 11:30 am, beginning February 16. It will end with performances of Dinomotion, a one-act musical play by Michael and Jill Gallina, on April 6 at 2:00 and 4:00 pm.
During the course of this workshop, students will concentrate on performance-related skills such as diction, voice-projection, singing, stage movement, choreography, and characterization, and they will learn about technical and practical aspects of presenting plays as they work towards staging a production.
The workshop will be taught by Megan Reidy and Jan Fuller with others on Calliope's staff. The tuition fee is $150 per student, with space filled on a first-come basis.
Registration requires a non-refundable $50 deposit. The balance is due on February 16.

2008 Summer Pre-Teen Workshop
The Summer Pre-Teen Youth Theatre Workshop Program is Snoopy!!! - the Broadway musical by Larry Grossman and Hal Hackady.It starts on Monday, June 30, and meets Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.
Performance presentations will be given at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, July 30, through Saturday, August 2.
The cost is $350 per student, with space filled on a first-come basis.
Parents may register their children by using the Workshop Registration Form, and mailing it in with a non-refundable $50 deposit.

2008 Fall Pre-Teen Workshop
The Fall Pre-Teen Youth Theatre Workshop Program is Let's Hear It for the Heroes, a one-act musical play by Michael and Jill Gallina.It meets on Saturdays, 9:30 - 11:30 am, beginning September 20.
Performance presentation will be given on Sunday, November 9, at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
The cost is $150 per student, with space filled on a first-come basis.
Parents may register their children by using the Workshop Registration Form, and mailing it in with a non-refundable $50 deposit.
Enrollment registrations are available until the workshop is filled. The balance is due on September 20.
